DESCRIPTION:Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind will host their annual UK Day Garden Party & Tea event on Sunday\, July 14\, 2019 from 12:00pm-3:00pm.  The event will take place on the grounds of the National Training Centre of Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind\, 4120 Rideau Valley Drive North\, Manotick. \nEnjoy authentic cream tea with scones featuring imported English Devon cream. \nBrian Lynch; Guitar and Voice will perform live music.  You can also join in a pick-up rounders match or get a tutorial from the British Meetup Group\, and purchase some of your favourite treats from British foods vendor Clarence & Cripps. \nTickets are $13 in advance at Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind or by phoning 613-692-7777. \nTickets will be also be available at the door for $15.  This is a rain or shine event\, with indoor and outdoor seating. \n100% of the proceeds are directed towards the training of guide dogs and assistance dogs. \n
