Canada-Wide, May 1 through May 31, 2020.
Billion-Steps Challenge. Canada. Together Apart.
- Replaces the in-person Mother’s Day Walk that had been scheduled for various cities. Now you can self-isolate walk, run, bike, stationary bike etc. throughout the month of May to raise money to fund research in Canada. Follow your progress online. Reach out via social media to your followers.
Imagine a day when a cure for Breast Cancer is discovered. Your support now can help fund research into cures, more effective treatments and better testing.
- We’ve come a long way with genetic testing via a simple blood test, for example, helping to guide treatment choices to maximize their effectiveness based on a person’s own DNA! But we still have a long way to go to find a cure for people diagnosed today and in the future. For some, better treatments, options and ideally a cure, needs to happen sooner rather than later. You can help speed up the process. You can help get ‘er done.
Will you please help me help our researchers find that cure? If you can afford to do so, will you please donate to Breast Cancer Society of Canada today? Your donation funds research that may lead to a cure and / or better treatments that helps your relatives, friends, or you. Thanks! – Michelle Beaupre, CharityWishList.ca Ottawa, ON.

Want to join a Team? My Team is “Snoopy MBFM.ca” – you are welcome to join me and encourage your network to sponsor you or the Team effort.
(Note: My participation in the walk is voluntary, I am riding my stationary bike 4 km per day (5,429 steps daily) for an overall May event total of 124 km (162,719 steps) to be biked to raise funds for research. How many steps you do is up to you, to do what is comfortable for you. Together apart we can keep research going: save lives, and make for better treatments to improve the quality of lives for those diagnosed. Research brings hope. Your donation brings research. Your donation brings hope and progress. Thank you.)
