I saved a nice rollator from being tossed into the landfill. Nothing wrong with it But, the left brake needs work on. I’m not mechanically inclined but if you know of some man/woman who would know how to fix itr, then that would be great, cos those things cost alot of money. It would make someone’s life a lot easier to get around it they were given it. There’s a seat (don’t know of it folds up to collapse) a cloth bag under the seat to hold items and a coffee cup holder on the side of it. If you can’t fix it, maybe you could tell me of an organization where they do that sort of stuff…. thanks…
Hi Donna, thank you for asking about donating a rollator that needs some minor repairs. I suggest contacting Nova Scotia Health https://www.nshealth.ca/clinics-programs-and-services/health-equipment and see if they have a connection to someone near you that could repair the item and then donate it to Nova Scotia Health or refer you to an organization that would be interested in the donation. For example nursing homes, retirement homes, Canadian legion halls https://www.legion.ca/contact-us/find-a-branch
Hope this helps,
Best,
Michelle Beaupre
