  1. I would like to know where I can donate my wedding dress. I would like it to go to a good cause and if someone can benefit from it or repurpose it, that would be wonderful.

    • Hi Connie, that’s awesome! For Vancouver, I suggest reaching out to the LOOKOUT EMERGENCY AID SOCIETY http://lookoutsociety.ca/get-involved/donate/. I already contacted the number I have for them, as they are usually interested in clothing donations, and for Vancouver the lady provided the following phone number for you to contact directly: 604-255-7026. You could also try the Salvation Army Thrift store nearest you: https://thriftstore.ca/locations/

Thank you for making an effort to gift your wedding dress, it will no doubt make someone very happy,

  2. I have a collection of warm clothing, a sleeping bag and an emergency tent. Is there somewhere I can donate these items?

  3. We have a lot of men’s business jackets in all sorts of sizes for donation; looking for a charitable who would provide a tax receipt – do you know of any organization?

  4. Hi Michelle.
I have children’s flannel pj’s, dresses, and quilted blankets. All new (or worn once for photos) and handmade.
It seems a shame to mindlessly donate. Any suggestion on where best to take these items?

    • Hi Sheri, yes, I have a list of charities on my website. You would contact the charities of your choosing and ask.
