Donations of magazines and used books are usually welcome and usually may be dropped off at the Help Desk in the main lobby. [But call first in case they are not accepting at the moment due to Covid precautions.]

Magazines and paperback books are distributed to patient waiting rooms and to the sunrooms on each floor. Volunteers visit these areas weekly to ensure a good supply and to dispose of worn out copies.

  1. Hi

I am the store manager at Talize Kingston and we are looking to partner up with a charity or vendor to be able to donate our used books. Is this something you would be interested in or would you know another contact that may be interested?

    Thanks Ron

  2. Hi Ron, thank you for your interest in donating books. Have you reached out to the two places listed on this website for book donations? Kingston Frontenac Public Library; and Kingston General Hospital?

  3. I tried to donate to KGH. They couldn’t accept any because of Covid.
