Michell has a Bachelor of Social Sciences, Concentration Sociology and an additional Concentration Music, from the University of Ottawa; and is currently in the Fundraising Management Certificate Program through Algonquin College, maintaining an A+ / 4.0 GPA, currently in the second last of six courses (completion of certificate December 2019.)

Michelle has been an HR Corporate Programs Specialist for a company with over 5,000 employees; a Special Event Assistant for the Scottish Society of Ottawa, for a public event for the non-profit that attracted over 5,000 people in the Aberdeen Pavilion throughout the evening; Membership Services Specialist for a National charity for their magazine’s renewal mail-out campaign; Senior Office Administrator at a private elementary school; Executive Assistant to a Director General; worked for Industry Canada via contract for their first three spectrum licenses auctions that raised over a billion dollars; Special Projects Coordinator for the National Gallery of Canada, Communications & Marketing Dept a long time ago, coordinating their Calendar of Events Brochures and assisting with organizing and holding Press Conferences; and more.
